Sandwiches have become very popular in our recent days more than they were in the past to the extent that they sometimes replace the main and important meals. We have them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sandwiches now in fact have become an option for a meal more than a snack. Let’s take a look at the most expensive sandwiches all over the world.

The Douche Burger: It is the most expensive burger sandwich in the world that costs $666. Franz Aliquo is the one who invented this cheeseburger sandwich. The sandwich consists of unique ingredients such as Kobe beef patty, gold leaf, foie gras, caviar, lobster, truffles, Gruyere cheese, a kopi luwak barbeque sauce and Himalayan rock salt.

Le Burger Extravagant : It costs $295 and contains Japanese Waygu beef patty, white truffle butter, smoked sea salt, cheddar cheese, fried quail egg, a blini, creme fraiche and Kaluga caviar.

Bacon Bling Sandwich: It costs $225. The sandwich is the most expensive bacon sandwich that is presented by Tangberry’s cafe in Cheltenham. It was created by Paul Philips who is the owner of the Tangberry’s cafe. The sandwich consists of an egg, rare breed bacon, black truffles, truffle oil, gold leaf, watercress, gold dust and saffron.

The Richard Nouveau Burger: This sandwich costs $175. The sandwich contains Kobe beef burger, black truffles, seared foie gras, Gruyere cheese, mushrooms and gold leaf.

von Essen Platinum Club Sandwich: The sandwich costs £100 ($150). It consists of ham, poulet de Bresse, white truffles, quail eggs and semi-dried Italian tomatoes.

Hot Dog Sandwich: The sandwich costs $145. It is invented by using beef frank, moose cheese, white truffle butter, French whole grain mustard and Hampshire bacon on a focaccia roll.
