Recently, I have had many conversations about finding that perfect gadget that you can carry with you on your travels and so. With many of us still managing to work from home, we surely haven’t done much of the said travelling however, there are still a few people out there, who are on the constant move, comparatively lesser but still something. And of course, you cannot be carrying a brick kind of a laptop or computer everywhere. Either that or you just take leaves.

Having said that, there have been many companies who have taken advantage of the fact that people work while they are still on the move and have come up with better, faster, smaller alternatives that come across as a decent option over having to carry a heavy laptop. Talking about tablets here. I know not many people aren’t used to using tablets as such, but in recent times, these tablets have undergone many changes that not only bring about a large number of advantages to the users but they are also way too affordable compared to laptops while offering the same number of features and specs.

One such gadget would be the Lenovo Smart Tab M10 FHD Plus. Now there might be some wondering as to why I am writing a whole essay kind of this device. Well, this is one of the latest devices that I have purchased and I know there are many out there who might be looking for something similar to help them with their work so one of the main reasons is this. If you are interested you can look at the specs of the tablet and then decide, which is the obvious thing one should do. One of the first things that I noticed was the display of the tablet.

With 10.3 inches the Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus is a bit bigger than the 10.1-inch screens of most competitors. If you compare the counterparts, one can definitely see a difference. The 10.3-inch screen has a full HD resolution with 1920 x 1200 pixels. It’s not as sharp as most phones, but I always think that a full HD resolution is good enough at 10 inches. It’s bright enough, color reproduction is good and it’s an IPS panel. That means you can easily see from the sides too. It’s also nice to know that it’s a fully laminated screen. It means that you won’t see an air gap below the touchscreen.

The Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus features a MediaTek Helio P22T octa-core processor. It has 4GB of RAM and a 64GB internal storage. The multi-core performance of the Helio P22T is pretty good. The graphics performance is not great but kind of standard in this price range. Games like Call of Duty and PUBG Mobile do run well most of the time. Most standard apps like Chrome, Microsoft Word, YouTube and Skype run very well. Chrome performs smoothly with lots of tabs that are opened at the same time and they are being saved in memory when switching between them. I guess that’s due to the 4GB of RAM which is quite a lot for a 200-dollar tablet. That should also be the reason why the split screen view runs well too. Thanks to the 4GB of RAM I think it’s great for office work with some multitasking and similar tasks.

The Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus is shipped with Android 9. There’s also a so-called Lenovo Entertainment Center that sits on the home screen. There is also something called the Kids Mode as well as the productivity mode. Once you turn it on, those navigation buttons on the bottom get transformed into a kind of task bar. That looks similar to a desktop operating system and means you can navigate Android easier with keyboard and mouse. It’s not a real desktop mode like the ones Samsung or Huawei offer though. The built-in facial recognition can be useful too.
