Upcoming Movie: Oppenheimer Featuring Cillian Murphy

Universal Pictures has disclosed the 1st look of actor Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s new movie, “Oppenheimer.” Production on the “epic thriller” is going on currently, Universal and Syncopy have announced Murphy’s transformation into a historical figure.

Drafted and further directed by Nolan, “Oppenheimer” is explained as an epic thriller project that thrusts viewers into the pulse-pounding paradox of the mystic man who must risk decimating the world in order to protect it.

In addition, the movie is produced by Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, and Nolan.

The star-studded cast of this upcoming project also includes Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Benny Safdie, Dane DeHaan, Matthew Modine, Jack Quaid, Alden Ehrenreich, and David Krumholtz.

Oppenheimer is based on the year 2005 Pulitzer Prize-winning book named American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, written by Kai Bird and also the late Martin J. Sherwin.
