Samsung Galaxy A32 5G vs A32 LTE
Major difference between the two is the fact that the Samsung Galaxy A32 LTE is the 4G LTE variant of the Galaxy A32 5G. While it has slower connectivity speeds, it does have one better feature and that is its 90Hz 1080P AMOLED display which simply trashes the LCD one on the A32 5G version.
Galaxy A32 5G is part of Samsung’s latest lineup of affordable smartphones that cater to the needs of people who can’t afford flagship products. The device looks good, has a generous battery, an impressive number of cameras, and 5G connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy A32 is the cheapest 5G device that Samsung offers right now. For most of the major aspects, both Samsung Galaxy A32 5G and the Samsung Galaxy A32 LTE are similar. Design-wise, the back is a glossy plastic one, which we’re not a fan of but the camera bump is non-existent. Instead, what you get here are slight protrusions from each camera lens. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor is on the side here which we’re fans of. We only wish Samsung had decided to either put a glass back or just own the plastic and make it matte, and possibly make the chin on the display slightly smaller.
For the basic specs of the phone, the device features a 6.5" 90Hz Infinity V display for smoother animations, a large 5,000mAh battery, and runs Android 11 out of the box. Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is a large 6.5-inch smartphone with rounded corners and the following dimensions: 6.46 x 3.00 x 0.36 inches or 164.2 x 76.1 x 9.1 mm. It is also relatively heavy, weighing 7.23 oz or 205 grams. This smartphone is available in four color variants: Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Violet.
On the rear is a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor capable of 4K video capture, alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera, a macro sensor, and a depth camera. There’s 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM, which isn’t too bad at this price point. It’ll also be able to tap into one of the best 5G networks thanks to Google Fi’s reliance on T-Mobile’s network.
Otherwise, in terms of thickness, this device is as thick as a brick and it’s probably one of the first things you’ll notice in hand. If we exclude that, though, this is a rather refreshing design.
In terms of the camera, it offers a pretty good deal for the money. The cameras are four on the back and one of them is a depth sensor. The main shooter is 48MP, the ultrawide we have here is 8MP and we have a macro camera at 5MP.
Now, since this phone is not exactly top of the line, we weren’t expecting much, but we were honestly surprised to see it do this good. It lacks a few key features such as optical stabilization but we’ll get to that in a bit.
In almost every scenario, it looked OK in terms of color, but the main sensor was having a bit of difficulty with dynamic range from time to time.
For the performance aspect, The Galaxy A32 5G comes equipped with a lower mid-range Mediatek Dimensity 720 chip. It’s not really that slow but you will get the occasional stutter. Our GeekBench score came up with 474 points on a single core and a multi-core score of 1551 points, which is slightly behind the A52 4G. So expect acceptable performance in casual games and more than good enough behavior while you’re looking up an Excel table.
If you are a Samsung fan and you want 5G connectivity, excellent battery life, good performance, and pleasant design without spending a lot of money, Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is a smartphone that you should consider buying. It performs well for most users, and its camera system does what you expect from a smartphone in its price range.
