Realme is a well known company and ever since we have had 5G trending, Realme has been all about offering the most options in the 5G segment for the users to choose from and while doing so, the brand has not compromised on the quality and the performance of their smartphones in my opinion. With the Realme X7 Pro 5G, you will see opposing views and opinions mainly with the look and the design of the phone. Few have been calling it too simple and just boring however I think that all depends on personal preference. I, for one, like the simple look of the phone as opposed to the flashy back of the phones. The brand has taken and made a good amount of effort into making this phone a good option for all kinds of users be it in terms of the display preference, camera specs, processing power or even in terms of battery. I am well aware that for few of us the battery configuration of the phone makes for a major priority while choosing a phone. There are indeed a few of the features that I really like however here I am going to mention most of these just to get a quick overview of the phone and of the integrated specifications of the same. Starting with the first thing that we see while checking out a new smartphone; the display.

DISPLAY: Realme X7 Pro offers a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display having a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The device has a 120Hz refresh rate and a pixel density is 402ppi. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The bezel-less punch-hole display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass v5. The size of the display is pretty good. Fits perfectly in the palm of your hand making it a good phone if you intend on using it for long hours. Guarantees a comfortable user experience for sure.

PROCESSOR- Realme X7 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus chipset, an octa-core processor setup comprising 2.6GHz Cortex A77 Quad-core and 2GHz Cortex A55 Quad-core. The smartphone features a massive 8GB RAM with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU for a rich gaming experience. The Dimensity 1000 Plus encompasses the HyperEngine 2.0 technology which augments the smartphone to deliver a smooth, immersive gaming experience. This includes a resource management engine that ensures game performance fluidity with minimal power consumption. This means more power and much more gaming action is on the way along with speedy 5G connections on smartphones powered by this chip.

The Dimensity 1000+ supports ultra-fast 144Hz refresh rate screens. Other than speed, the new processor is also equipped with MiraEngine, which can enhance SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) videos and convert it to HDR10+. The MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus also offers improvements in the connectivity department. The company’s own 5G UltraSave feature, as the name suggests, reduces the power consumption of the 5G modem. It can dynamically switch between low and high 5G bandwidths depending on the app you’re using. With the integration of this chipset, Realme has not only added 5G capabilities to the phone, but it also plays a great role in ensuring a steady and uninterrupted user experience at all times. Be it in terms of ensuring there are no lags or even keeping a check on the battery drain aspect, Dimensity 1000+ takes care of it all.

CAMERA- The smartphone offers an impressive quad-camera setup on its rear side with a 64MP f/1.8 Primary Shooter, an 8MP f/2.25 Ultra-Wide- Angle Shooter, a 2MP f/2.4 Retro Portrait Camera and another 2MP f/2.4 Depth Camera. On the front, it has a powerful 32MP f/2.45 Primary lens for crystal clear selfies.

BATTERY- The smartphone gets power from a 4,500mAh non-replaceable Li-ion battery, equipped with a 65W Flash Charging technology.

Based on the specs of the phone, I would say the Realme X7 Pro is a pretty good and powerful phone in the 5G segment and Realme did pull off a good job here.
