The Chromebook comes powered by a MediaTek chipset at its core. This was a pleasant surprise. I have been looking at how well MediaTek has been doing in the recent past, therefore, HP did make a good decision with going for this brand of a processor. The HP Chromebook is powered by a MediaTek MT8183 processor.

The keyboard is spill-resistant, and the Chromebook meets the MIL-STD 810H7 ruggedized tests to help protect against drops. Models include WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
