With the recent change in times and the need to get work done remotely, it has become important to own a lightweight and powerful device that is not a hassle but rather a help in getting work done easier and faster without much hassle. I am a fan of HP devices, mostly because of all the new innovations and integrations that the brand incorporates in them. I was sold with the 360 spin ones so moving forward, I take a look at everything that the brand has to offer. In my opinion, HP chose the right time to come up and launch these new models of Chromebook and based on the features, it is quite clear that the brand did not try to cut any corners in terms of the features just so they could price the device low.

HP has recently added a long list of new Chromebook models to the already existing list. The Education Edition segment gets 5 new additions by the brand and it comprises of laptops that are specifically designed keeping the needs of students in mind. One of those 5 new models is the HP 11MK G9 Education Edition. A few things common between all these newly launched Chromebook models is the fact that they feature long battery life and the HP Classroom manager that permits the teachers to remotely keep a check on the student internet usage. Along with this, the brand has also integrated a full-skirted anchored keyboard on all the five models that prevents any kind of key from being removed and they are also spill resistant up to 350ml which is actually a great addition considering how these Chromebook can be rough handled by many, therefore they will be ready to sustain those as well.

Under the G9 segment, HP has launched two models, namely, the Chromebook 11 G9 EE and the Chromebook 11MK G9 EE. Both sounds quite similar and to be honest, there is only one major difference between the two. Both HP Chromebook 11 G9 EE and HP Chromebook 11MK G9 EE are mostly similar with a major difference being the processor under the hood. HP Chromebook 11 G9 EE is powered by an Intel chip, and HP Chromebook 11MK G9 EE comes with a MediaTek processor. The company claims that HP Chromebook 11MK G9 has a battery life of up to 16 hours. Both offer up to 8GB LPDDR4x-2933 SDRAM, and up to 64 GB eMMC. Here we would be looking into the one that’s powered by MediaTek, especially since it seems like it has an upper hand with regard to the battery life of the Chromebook.

As far as the features and the specifications of the Chromebook is concerned, let’s first take a quick look into the same.
