The actress, Jennifer Lopez is finally sharing the story of her life in a new upcoming documentary on the OTT platform Netflix, and the movie is titled ‘’Halftime”. This movie will follow her life and all the events that led up to her Super Bowl performance with Shakira. The movie “Halftime” will come on the opening of the Tribeca Film Festival on the day of June 8 and will be obtainable to watch on Netflix on June 14.

This documentary movie sheds new light on the international superstar’s milestone, seeing her get vulnerable for the 1st time on camera, crying as she gets the news she was selected for an Oscar nomination for her role in Hustlers.

In the new trailer, Lopez describes, “I have lived in the public eye and really believed a lot of what said” leading a rehearsal. Later, “Jenny From The Block” gets emotional in reaction to the Hustlers not getting an Oscar nomination. Via a fit of tears, she expressed, “It was hard. I just had very low self-esteem. And, I had to figure out who I was and believe in that and not believe anything else.”

In the press release, it expresses “Halftime, the movie offers a peek behind the curtain showing the grit and determination that makes Jennifer Lopez the icon she is, from her performances onscreen and on stages around the world, to her Super Bowl halftime show, to the recent presidential inauguration”.

Many of the J-Lo fans are eagerly waiting for this release, and I think this documentary is going to offer a nice picture of her life.
