Kim’s Convenience

I don’t know if you have come across this one while scrolling through the library of Netflix but if you haven’t I would totally recommend checking this one out. A Korean-Canadian family tries to keep up with the times while running a convenience store in Toronto. There’s humor and depth, and you can stream the first three seasons now.

The Magicians

If you can’t get enough of spells and fantasy, you need to queue up The Magicians. Grad student Quentin Coldwater goes off to a college specializing in magic, and plenty of mind-blowing moments happen from there. It’s been renewed for a 5th season on Syfy, so catch up now.

Peaky Blinders

I am pretty sure you must have at least heard of this one, if not watched it yet. This is another one of those gems of a show which hasn’t received the much praises that it deserves and is capable of. This show takes us back to 1919 in Birmingham, England, where a notorious gang wreaks havoc after the end of World War I. There are four seasons, so this is a Netflix original series you can watch for a while.

Schitt’s Creek

There is a reason why this show has received so many awards and prizes and accolades. This is absolutely one of those shows that you just cannot afford to miss out on. The Canadian television sitcom follows the once-rich Rose Family, who lose everything and have to pack up and move to a small town in the middle of nowhere called Schitt’s Creek. The show has a massive cult following, and while it’s been on for years, most people are just getting into now thanks to Netflix. We highly recommend this show if you love a good laugh.
