Can Chandler’s One-Liners be any more sarcastically hilarious?
F.R.I.E.N.D.S have been one of the most loved sitcoms since the very beginning. The cast of the series were chosen carefully, and the producers did a fantastic job with choosing the right people for the right roles. Even with the millennials, F.R.I.E.N.D.S have been one of the most talked about series and it has also sort of become a conversation starter. It is one of the most memorable shows and major part of the credit goes to how beloved the characters are and how many of the aspects of the show became iconic on so many aspects. Whether one likes the show or not tells a lot about the person. I mean there are a total of 6 main characters and in my opinion if you can’t relate to even one of them, then that is something to think about.
Personally, Chandler is my favorite. Fight me on it and you’d still not be able to change my mind. Matthew Perry who played the character of Chandler did a fantastic job and I can’t think of anyone else doing justice to the character of Chandler other than him. Starting from the digs at his friends to his sarcastic jokes, there have been so many instances throughout the series that proves that Chandler is the best character amongst all the others.
I would like to point out a few one-liners of Chandler which in my opinion were just the best and you couldn’t top those no matter how hard you try.
“I’M GLAD WE’RE HAVING A REHEARSAL DINNER. I SO RARELY GET TO PRACTICE MY MEALS BEFORE I EAT THEM.”
“OH NO, TWO WOMEN LOVE ME. THEY’RE BOTH GORGEOUS AND SEXY. MY WALLET’S TOO SMALL FOR MY FIFTIES AND MY DIAMOND SHOES ARE TOO TIGHT!”
“I’M NOT GREAT AT THE ADVICE. CAN I INTEREST YOU IN A SARCASTIC COMMENT? SOME CHEESE?
“YOU HAVE TO STOP THE Q-TIP WHEN THERE’S RESISTANCE.” (This one is my favorite and I have been looking for opportunities to use it for real)
“SO, IT SEEMS LIKE THIS INTERNET THING’S HERE TO STAY, HUH?”
One of the greatest things about his one-liners is the fact that they were brilliantly delivered, and they were barely something that couldn’t be said on live television. Just real and genuine and I agree on most of these lines, you’d hate yourself for laughing but you can’t help it either.
